Privacy notice

This is a mostly static personal website and no account registration is required. This page explains the data processing that actually takes place when you visit, and how you can control it

What we collect

This site has no account system, and you can browse all content without providing your name, email address or any identifying information. The server side does not store data submitted by visitors, and every item listed below is a data flow that actually exists in the current code.

Visit analytics (Google Analytics 4)

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which content is read, the channels visitors come from, and device types. The analytics script loads only after you choose “Accept analytics” in the notice at the bottom of the page; before that, no request is sent to Google and no Cookie is written. Once accepted, GA4 writes Cookies whose names begin with _ga in your browser and sends anonymized page view data to Google. This site does not associate this data with any personal identity, and it does not send prompt text or search queries to the analytics service.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer; after withdrawal the site stops analytics and deletes the _ga Cookies it wrote. You can also block analytics through the Cookie settings of your browser, a privacy extension, or the Analytics opt-out add-on provided by Google. Declining or withdrawing does not affect how the site works.

Browser local storage

After you click to close the notification bar at the top of the site, a "dismissed" flag is recorded in the localStorage of your browser (the key name begins with notification-dismissed:). It is used only so that the same notification is not shown again. Your analytics choice is likewise stored only in localStorage (key name cookie-consent). These flags are not sent to the server, and clearing the site data removes them.

Images and videos hosted by third parties

Some of the images, Prompt examples and videos on this site are hosted on Cloudflare R2 (the file.cheerselfai.com and r2.dev domains), and a small number of images come from pbs.twimg.com and raw.githubusercontent.com. When your browser loads these resources, the corresponding provider receives your IP address and request information, as with any web resource.

Attribution and removal of third-party content

The videos, images and prompts in the Prompt collections, Demos and Use Cases come from public posts on X, GitHub and similar platforms. Pages keep the author’s name and a link to the original post, and some media is copied to this site’s storage so it can be played. If you are the author or rights holder of such content and do not want it on this site, or the attribution or source is wrong, please email me the page address and the item; I will verify it, remove or correct it, and reply with the outcome.

External links

The articles, resource library and Prompt collections contain external links to X, GitHub, YouTube, and various course and tool sites. After you click one, you leave this site and the privacy policy of the other site applies. All external links carry rel="noopener noreferrer" and do not leak your browsing context on this site to the other party.

Hosting and logs

The site is deployed on Vercel, and static assets are delivered through Cloudflare. The hosting providers may retain standard access logs (IP, User-Agent, request path, time) for security and operations purposes. These logs are managed by the providers under their own policies, and this site does not use them to identify individuals.

Your rights and contact details

Because this site does not store personal data, there are normally no records that need to be deleted or exported. If you have questions about any of the items above, or find that a page contains information you do not want made public, please get in touch by email and I will handle it as soon as possible.
